I’m Luise Sargent and I am a degree qualified psychotherapist, counsellor and coach. I offer confidential therapy sessions in a safe, non-judgmental environment. We believe everyone has the right to fulfil their true potential so if something or someone is stopping that together we can work through the issue or reasons why you feel stuck.
At Therapy Kensington we offer a range of therapeutic modalities such as Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy. Having a 15 minute introductory call allows us to discover the best therapy for you. It’s important to find the right therapy that aligns with your needs and preferences.
A therapy session is approximately 50 minutes long.
This will depend on your individual treatment plan which can be discussed during your 15 minute introductory call. We normally say weekly sessions to start with but going to fortnightly as the weeks go on. The length of time you will be in therapy depends on the severity of your condition and your individual needs. Therapy can be short term (a few weeks to a few months) or longer term (several months to years) It’s important to discuss your goals and expectations with us
At Therapy Kensington we have experience of treating a wide range of mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, trauma and relationship issues. If we feel we cannot treat your particular condition we would signpost you to someone that can. Having the right therapist who has experience and expertise in treating your specific condition is the most important aspect of therapy.
We offer packages that will best suit the needs of the client. We can discuss this within the 15 minute introductory call. However, if you want to pay weekly that is also fine, we ask for payment 24 hours in advance of your session.
We work collaboratively with our clients to set treatment goals and track progress. If you or we feel it isn’t working we can discuss different options to make sure you are getting the most out of your sessions
